Shed weight. I went with lighter wheels and tires, a single muffler exhaust, lighter battery, and dumped the back seat and jack.

Another suggestion to speed up your life: Change your screen name!!! You'll be getting prank emails for the rest of your life if you don't. Posting you email address on a public forum is just asking for it.

How much ya got to spend?

You can add a smaller supercharger pulley and catback exhaust, maybe swap the intake. Beyond that your options are header, cam, bigger fuel injectors, and a tune. Going a step further: a big valve head. HP comes with a dollar amount attached. Start with shedding weight, then get out your credit card if you want more.

I have an R53 with the JCW kit also. The best bang for the buck is to get a tune from Jan at RMW. You have a good intake just get a k and n filter. An exhaust won't do much more than what you got. A 15 percent pulley only adds 1 more psi. You have bigger injectors. A header is the next step. Then a GP inter cooler

Then you go big time w/ a cam and even bigger injectors. You will need a retune after that.

For a 2003, you may have the JCW 200 kit:

but depending on when it was installed you may have the JCW 210:

Do you know what version or parts you currently have? It's kinda needed to know how to improve from here.

Yea, you can tell by the JCW intake and the blue JCW injectors combo for the newer one.

Since you have JCW engine mod maybe focus on other areas to be faster such as suspension and high performance driver training.
Rear Adj Sway Bar, Stiffer/Shorter Springs, Lighter/Stickier Tires, and Lighter Wheels.

For the engine it depends on what JCW package you have. For 210 package (with air intake and injectors); if you have never replaced the crank pulley (OEM tends to fail at high mileage) you could install an 2% ATI crank pulley to increase boost slightly without changing out your JCW pulley.

I also have an 03' R53 with the dealer installed JCW kit. I've swapped the JCW pulley for a 17% pulley (went from 12psi to 16psi boost), installed a Pipercross CIA, replaced the oem bypass valve with a Detroit BPV , installed Bosch 380cc injectors, and got a new tune. To be honest....nothing really made a huge improvement. The pulley added a little bottom end power since the boost comes in a little sooner (the Detroit BPV also helped with this). The tune made a slight improvement in mid range power. The injectors were a waste of time.......

If I had to do it all again....I would upgrade the JCW pulley to a 17% pulley, put in any good CAI....and leave everything else the way it is, and work on more suspension and braking upgrades. If you have the JCW exhaust, tune, and head...you are already doing pretty good.

Driver training....and good upkeep....so many cars need things like struts and sparkplugs, it's sad...
90% of folks have more performance in their cars than they can USE.....
Then you will find spending $$ on quality tires to gain more grip...maybe suspension mods...
Getting a pulley on the SC is a way to gain HP...wth a JCW, you would want a 17%....you will not feel the change to a 15%...you already have about a 11% smaller one (about) than the S.
