R50/53 Mini's in Your Neighborhood
Speaking of Miami, if you are a car nut, this is the place to be. In here you see 2-3 Ferraris a day, Aston Martins, Maseratis, Lotus Esprit, Maybachs, you name it.
Like the famous Will Smith song says about Miami..."$100,000 dollar cars, everybody is got them!"

Come down to Miami, FL. Here you'll see soooo many MINIs (30-50 average a day) that within a day or two you will get sick and tired of seeing them on just about every corner.
Classic Minis are not a rare sight here either.

I was the first to get one in a county of 12000 people, and a town of 4000.
You will have so many questions, so many people wanting to sit in it, and a few ask for a ride.
I've had mine for a little over a year and a half, and I still get asked question about once a week. I've given rides, gotten thumbs up, and have had the bonnet up so many times I can't even remember. One time I was sitting in a fast food restraunt with my family, and a whole bus of teenagers came in and asked whose MINI was in the parking lot. I said it was mine, they said cool, then had a quick tour of it. I still get little kids waving and pointing. I once got waved over by a cop (I mean policeman) so he could ask questions and check everything out.
 Enjoy it, it can be alot of fun.
My excuse for being late is not even questioned anymore (boss or wife). "I was selling another MINI"Nik
I live in MINIlani which is home of mucho many MINIs.
I've lost count but easily we have 10 to 15 MINIs within a few square miles. None on my block but each of 7 homes around me does have a Toyota Camry. Yuk!
I still try to wave at other MINIs but often they don't pay attention.

I don't recall seeing any Minis in my immediate neighborhood but on the way home I usually see about a half dozen minis travelling westbound on cesar chavez, and about half a dozen parked on the various streets.

Where I live in Portland OR there are 4 Mini's within 10 blocks. 2 MCS and 2 MC. There may be more parked in garages where I cannot see.
My neighborhood is also full of my other favorite vehicles - VW Vangon and Eurovan campers.

I too live in Portland (well, Gresham). I have seen a few MINI's in close proximity to my house while driving around. (Mostly MCS) I even saw one MCS same color as mine (BRG w/ W roof) about three blocks form my house on my way to work. They are really starting to appear more and more.

Hey, C4Us, in West L.A., which includes Beverly Hills, Westwood, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Bel Air, Venice, and into Malibu, there are plenty of car nuts, too! It's fun to watch all the pretties roll! Also, plenty of gorgeous classics are motoring around!

I knew what you meant. I was being funny.
According to the DMV, I was the first person to get a MINI in the state of Delaware, population 800,000. They remained a rare sight until about a year ago and are still pretty uncommon. I might see 1 or 2 every day. I see more Hummers each day.
There are 2 in my town now but I never see the owners, just the parked cars. I still get the occaisional question about it but nowhere near the frequency (or dumbness) of 2 years ago!

There are 39 registered MINI's within 50 miles of me at FindaMotoringBuddy.com, but I know there are atleast twice that many that aren't registered. =)
2+
I know of 2 (for sure) in my town - a BRG/W MCS and a SG/SG MC. I've spotted 2 others on occasion, but not sure if they are from around here. My LY/B will be a nice addition.
And, no, neither of us are ready to be celebrities yet!

Ok, I'm a newbie to this, though have LOVED Minis for ages... am now looking toward getting one - when, if I can afford it.... but what I'd like to know is what some of the abbreviations are.... are they indications of colors or other things? Like R/W (red, white?) Some I kind of figure out...others I just don't get....
Hey, I saw another one in the parking lot at target. It had a Virginia Beach license frame, so it could be someone passing through, or a college student.
I figure there are only 75 Mini dealers and some states have 5 or 6 dealers. What states have NO Mini dealers?
