Finally did the second half of my striping project on the back of my Mini today ....Bought a Pure Silver Boot handle back in Jan from a forum member on here and finally installed it today with the Stripes ....looks ........lol

 

NICE!! and different from just going straight with them...

 

Looks really good! The trunk lid grip really meshes well with the stripes. I didn't see the stripes on the hood, do you have a picture you can share?

 

Thanks ! ..Im really liking how its turning out ..Here is a picture of the front with the scuttle panels with silver check vinyl ...i started this whole project wanting a "Checkmate" look to my Mini ....very soon the front slats will be changed to pure silver color just waiting for them in the mail ..i got them used from a NAM member ...Also i just bought a used Pure Silver Windshield Cowl to tie into the silver checkered side scuttles of my Mini almost look like a Targa/Band to follow up along my hood and tie in the stripes on the hood as well .....I am not sure if anyone has done that look before on there Mini ....but im thinking it may look cool ....LOL *****UPDATE ***** Just uploaded some pics with the Silver slats installed ...
