Hey folks,

Does anyone know if buying a car cover for an older model MCS and using it on an 05 would present a problem? It's my understanding that the antenna got longer on the 05's, so wouldn't the antenna pocket potentially not fit the whole antenna on the 04 cover? Trying to make a decision as my car is almost here and I'd like to have a cover when it arrives.

My friend recommends replacing the antenna with a shorter more attractive version, in which case the older model cover (of which he has one) will fit.

 

The cover I have (I got it from Moss, I think) Has a hole where the antenna is, so length shouldn't matter. I usually unscrew the antenna when I put the cover on anyway.
