Hit a small pot hole followed by a noise sound like something drop under the hood, then few minutes later water temperature started to rise, temperature was around 180-185 F with A/C running before i hit the pot hole then climbed to over 230 F. Made it home with heater at maximum fan speed to aid in lowering the water temperature, i knew something happen i started to look for clue, fuses they all ok.
I bought a fan relay kit from Detroit Tuned awhile back so i was able to get the old OEM fan from the attic and solder then...
Installed the fan today and test the fan, run ok now start at 221F and stop at 213F, A/C run ok also...
2 radiator fan in 4 years..sucks!
