I am going to jump on those eBay ones soon so I will let you guys know how they are. I don't believe Voltage exists anymore as I wanted one of their intakes and I emailed them and they said they aren't doing them anymore.
I ordered a set of the eBay ones for my R52S and love the look. Construction seemed good. Mounting was a little hinky but so far I have had them on the car for two weeks or so and they are still attached.

Those look a bit weird to me as one has holes on top and the other is a bit more like a scoop... And for those things to be effective the scoop opening should be towards the windshield (google cowl induction).
I think the holes on the passenger side are for air flow through the scoop to potentially lower the drag it creates? it wouldn't be for exhaust from the intake side, since the low pressure of the intake would use most if not all of that air. as for the whole ram vs cowl. we arnt pushing enough power to have that make a difference in our cars yet. at higher speeds, technically youll want a cowl. whereas lower speeds I think the ram is fine
looks good tho, glad your a happy customer. its always nice to see when stuff from ebay works!
The area under the windshield is under pressure while the car is moving; there's no way any air would come out of those vents.
The intake cone for ALTA and alike is right under that cowl duct, negative air pressure above the venting area has nothing to do with it. But in the case of cowl scoops providing a more suitable area for the intake to SUCK air from is a plus.
Yeah I has hoping to get a set of their cowl scoops this year as they were very similar to the Orciari but tad more aggressive....
I did some research, and seems that the lads who started this biz lost interest and some clients were getting upset over 3 and 4 month turn around for parts deliveries. Ultimately folks were made whole but alas, voltage products is no longer.
In hindsight would have been nice if someone like M7 purchased their specs and rights to manufacture and sell their products as it would have been a win win for everyone. Voltage had some really nice one off products.
