This is actually already fixed but I wanted to share for anyone else who has the problem!

Problem:
My driver side R53 door all of a sudden the power lock stopped working. Would not work via center toggle or via remote. Assumed my door lock actuator had died. Also noticed my driver side window stopped auto dropping and raising when I opened and closed the door. Was stuck in the up position. BUT THE WINDOW STILL WORKED VIA CENTER CONSOLE SWITCH.

Solution: I noticed my interior lights no longer came on when I opened the drivers door anymore. Opened up my door via removing the interior panel and reached inside to check the connection for the lock actuator and whatever sensor tells the car the door is open or closed. My connection was loose! I firmly plugged the cable back in and the lock started working and the window danced again and the interior lights work when I open the door again! Success!

Check this if you have symptoms of the power lock not working and the door dance stopping and interior lights not responding to opening or closing that door. This saved me.

My R53 has the issue with the auto door lock on the driver side not working. I have to use the key in the door to lock and unlock it. I plan on addressing it this winter when I replace the door brake.

Nice find. So the plug connection just came undone from shutting the door, or maybe the lock was replaced before and they did not clip in the harness all the way. Most of the time its the plug not clicked in all the way on the toggle bank.
