So far Ive replaced:

Both tie rods, both rear bushings, both end bushings, boot axle CV, power steering high pressure line, and got it aligned.

The issue only happened 200 miles after getting the car aligned, it was very sudden change while doing 70 in a highway, and doing all the changes, I thought it would be a power steering slow leak in the high pressure line but chainging this didnt help.

When I'm doing 60+mph and I lift the accelerator, the car swerves right, when I put the power down it straightenes out by swerving left.

What do you think it could be? Powersteering issue? axle?

Any help much appreciated
Literally had the same thing happen to me a week ago. I jacked it up and my ball joint mounts on the control arms worked their way loose. Just tightened it up and good to go.

JCWCABRIO, I'm interested to hear you say that. I tried to get my car aligned at a Firestone because I've had to pay $130 about once a year for the past 3 years for an alignment. (Replaced one tie rod, aligned, replaced other side a year later, aligned, put on new shocks a year later, aligned) Firestone refused to work on my car because they said they didn't have the weights to load it and do the job properly.

Kinda sounds like I dodged a bullet, but my R53 doesn't have adjustable camber so as long as they get the toe right, I'd probably be satisfied. I can usually tell when the alignment is off and I've taken the car back to have it fixed before, but I'd rather have it done right the first time.

Well its good they declined the work. If youre paying for an alignment it should be done the proper way.

As i previously stated most major cities have at least one dedicated alignment shop. If you dont like the dealer prices try them out. Ask questions. Ensure they will load the vehicle. Ensure they will measure ride height. And on your part, make sure it has a full tank. If its a convertible make sure the top is up.

Im kind of **** about my alignment. Luckily im good friends with someone who has a hunter rack they let me use every few months in exchange for a 6 pack and good conversation.

Im sure, however, there are ****stone stores out there that have the correct equipment to do so and are also up and up on their alignments. Based From my experience, in my area, i can only assume theyre few and far between!!
