2006 Mini Cooper S Won't turn over

Drove to a friends house to watch football, when I left my Mini would not turn over and the headlights flashed 3 times. What does this mean? I get the normal starting lights on the dash then 3 flashes of the headlight and then dark. Everything was turned off when the car was turned off. The dome light and other lights still work along with the wipers and it seems everything else.

Thanks for the help,
Newnhot

Replaced the battery and the car runs fine. Now all I need is to figure out the water in the battery well.

When the battery is bad it can create a whole mess of electrical gremlins. Glad replacing it fixed your issue. For the water in your battery box, be sure to check out the 3rd brake light and rear drain tubes. Read this NAM thread HERE for more information. Let me know if you have any questions.

Reseal the high center stop light. That is the most common bad seal.
