H11 Fog Light capacity

I replaced the H11 (55 watt) fog light bulbs with the slightly more powrfull 80 watt Xenon and proceeded to blow the 15 amp fuse . Question is, what happens if I just use a 20 amp (will I cause serious damage?)? Should I get heavier recpticles and wire them in? Should I just stick with the 55 watt version (I accidently got the 80 watt bulbs on eBay)?

I'd stick with the 55 watters. Since the fog light circuit is operated by a conventional relay and each lamp has individual power wires run from the relay, it's technically feasable to fuse it for 20 amps with little fear of electrical damage (the relay is rated for 20 amps, and the wiring can take it), but being that the lamp assemblies themselves are plastic, you risk damage (actually, you will damage) to the housings. Others have installed larger bulbs and ended up melting the reflector and housing, and cracked the lens from the increased heat.
