04 JCW: Randomly dies at idle while in neutral

Hello,

I've got a weird issue with this JCW I purchased a couple months ago. 186000 miles. It has randomly dies while in neutral, idling. It starts right back up but the trip meters and computer information is all reset. The stereo and clock DO NOT reset.

Today out of habit when I heard it about to die I pushed the clutch in even though it was in neutral and it remained running and nothing reset despite the computer turning off and back on. I was able to repeat this 3 times. The 4th time, I did not push the clutch in when I heard it start to die and it in fact died. I restarted the car and the trip meter and computer had reset. I've attached a video file (mp4 so I had to zip the file). Additionally, there have been no check engine lights or anything like that.

If anyone has an idea please let me know.

The battery isn't very old. The clutch was replaced about a year ago. I've only owned it for about 3 or 4 months maybe.
