R50/53 What is the "quintessential" Mini?
When I went GEN2 I had a car in mind when the dealer showed me the specs for something he had on the way
BRG (yes it was metalic but ...) with white

AND tan leather (tuscan)
AND woodgrain interior trim (when it included the steering wheel and the shifter)

you'd got to admit, BRG, tan leather and wood dash SCREAMS British car don't it?

Cool! They have more customization than licenseplates.tv, I'll probably buy mine from there.
Hard to say. I have several different configurations in my head, all of which I can consider to be quintessential.
My first MCS was an '04 Indi Blue with black, Lapis blue leather, X-lite wheels. I might still have the car if it hadn't ended up on the wrong side of a Dodge pickup.
My current MCS is an '05 Chili Red with white, black leather and S-lites. It looks good and the red gets a lot of attention. But it doesn't feel quite as "go-kart-ish" as my '04 did. I believe it is the extra weight of the wheels.
