Harmon Kardon audio system

My Harmon Kardon stop working on my 2004 base Mini.I get a few series of audio noises from the back of the car where the amp is located but no sound.I pulled the fuse which was good. When I put it back in the radio worked for about 10 seconds then went dead with a few weird audio noises.I'm trying to determine if it's the head unit or the amp.Can someone explain how this system works?

Dying H/K amps are a known issue. If you do any Google or NAM searches, you'll find this to be true.

I've pulled my entire H/K system and am selling the components. (2004 MCS R53) https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...omponents.html

I would offer to sell you my amp and HU for $300 plus shipping, or no shipping if you're in the SoCal area and can pick them up in person. These would be plug-n-play for you, and I guarantee that they work 100%.

PM me if you're interested. GLW finding your audio problem, whatever it is.
