whats the tune or ecu remap for r53
Been into Minis since I was a boy and now that I am all grown I have my mini and am trying to get the cleanest power out of it. I already have done the obvious things like a cat-back exhaust from Miltek, Alta 17% pulley, and a CAI. Looking to do injectors, street cam and other handling mods. Would love to know what you guys have used, what works, and what doesn't work.

Lots of great info here on the forums if you just search a little bit. Most people do suspension upgrades, and then move to the "internal" engine mods like a cam/head. A tune will help smooth out the power, but they cost a $$$ unless you live close to one of the big tuning shops...there are only a few in the country. Bigger injectors aren't needed with what you have now.....but would be a good idea if you did a cam, header, and/or head.
If you have a pulley and exhaust, you already have what 90% of most mini owners have. If you haven't gotten rid of your oem shocks, step up to a set of Koni Yellows or FSD, and maybe look at a rear sway bar?
Minis are more about handling than raw power/speed......your money is probably better spend looking at the suspension and braking since you already have the most common power adding mods already
