i dumped my beloved bombshell just prior to 50k for fear the pile of warrantywork it had incurred would replicate itself as bills at my own expense within month.

Yep Magic Mini just hit 50,000 today. Next week the 15% pulley is going on . Warranty is up and I don't care. The dealer never fixed the problems I was having so what is the point of the 50,000 warranty any way. After many trips to dealer I still have a AC problem and a right door speaker problem. But I still love the MINI. I have been changing my own oil since 15,000 and have a service book to do other work on Mini when need be.

 

Just hit 70k - the 15% pulley went on at 20k and I wish I had done it sooner. I will get another MINI when I hit 100k and was planning to do the pulley as soon as I get it. But now it looks like it will have a turbo and I'll have to wait to see what the performance options are.

 

And still going strong. Next is M7 ported blower, and some other intake goodies... I'll drive it till it blows, and then see what's up....
