You've been using BFG G-force Sport Comp-2 or BFG G-force Comp-2 A/S which has a 45k warranty?

Quote: I'm baffled nobody has brought up the only relevant metric: UTQG

Choose a tire with a UTQG of 350 or greater to achieve your 25k mile preference. Of course, that's assuming your alignment is biased to low wear [read: no aggressive camber or toe] and your driving habits involve strictly low g-forces in all axes.
^^^ Ding! Ding! Ding!

If you drive like a maniac or track your Mini, Ryephile suggestion is solid.

Also make sure your tires are balanced and the alignment is not out of spec.

Quote: I am running General G-Max on mine. They seem to be holding up well, and price is great! Made by Continental.
This is what I'm running their super quiet, with 5k mi. on them still looks new.
