My MINI finally cleared the "transmission fluid check" at the SC VDC and arrived at the dealer 9/23. We were on the plane to Dallas when it arrived. They picked us up at the airport and had it detailed on the showroom floor by the time we got to the dealer . Six amazing days of motoring and 2000 miles of back roads later, we are home . Need to wash him and get back out. There are untold miles of twisties that need taming !

Those of you waiting will be rewarded.

Got my first peek at my mini today and I'm very pleased. I should be taking it home on monday.

Just remember that you're not alone. OL still has me at "en route" too. Then again the automated ASK-MINI still has me waiting for a ship in Southampton. Talk about bad jokes ...

the OL lists me as at the VDC now...

But no update on EDD. who knows... hopefully soon. and hopefully I can find a way down to philly to get it.

I've also moved to VDC status. Given our proximity to the VDC, even with no change to the EDD, I have to think that there's a pretty good chance we'll see our cars this week.

 

Finally, mine just arrived in Ohio :smile: with another that will also be shipped to San Diego. Julie, my MA is waiting for two for Los Angeles (they are still on the ocean) to arrive before she ships all four. :smile: Now, just a few more weeks of looking at it's picture......This is like a kid waiting for Christmas....but, this kid is 57!

 

maybe i am just losing my mind, but all of a sudden I cant pull up the OL tracking at miniusa, it used to come up first thing in the owners lounge, now I cant find it anywhere! any suggestions? besides that I have lost my mind, although probably valid.

My OL tracking stuff disappeared after my status was At the Dealer for a few days. Maybe that's where your car is, then.

 

thanks DAn its about that time that it should be there, man Ive never heard of a car dealership being closed on sunday, (i just called) wierd, oh well wait til tomorrow i guess.

I'm still told I'm en route. I'm starting to freak out!!!

I am waiting for my 05 MCS -Hyper Blue w/ white stripes and roof - all three packages.

I ordered it end of September and I've got an estimated delivery time of 2nd week in November. I can't wait - this is my first new car!

 

We're back And here's Sunnie What a great little car Over 500 top down miles since Friday. Need I say more

Hubby & I went to Alexander MINI in L.A. late this afternoon and saw the following cabrios on the lot and through the showroom window: BRG/G, BRG/B, DS/B, and a very cute LY/B! The BRG/B was identical to yours, with the cordoba beige leather....so classy and cute!

I know you're going to have a blast in Sunnie! She's simply stunning!

I picked up my MCS yesterday. Went to work early and took a two
hour "lunch" to go pick it up.

To sum it up, the car is everything I envisioned when the order was
placed two months ago.

Also, if I can bolster anyones patience, from the time it arrived into the VDC to delivery to the dealer, it only took 2 days. HTH.

Now I just gotta get 1250 miles on her quick and get out of this break-in
period

Hi my 05MC(Cap'NJack) is being transported to the port of exit. Was wondering if any one else is waiting like I am. I am in San Francisco so it will take a while to get here I hope it gets on a boat soon. Does anyone know if it would go on a boat other than Wilenius Wilhelsen? Thanks!:smile:
