You've all heard me whinning for the last 2 months about getting my MINI but I have to show you my first born MINI. This is Louie. Just as handsome & reliable as the day I got him almost 2 years ago.

 

My MCS HB/HB is riding along with the two of you. Once it hits Charleston I have to wait for it to make its way to Jacksonville. The dealer is telling me around the 15th of the month. I am not very good at this hurry up and wait Also my OL states mine is still awaiting transport.

 

My Mini is should be at Classic in Ohio tomorrow. The K-Line ship must have arrived early. It was suppose to have arrived last Tuesday, but when I called Julie on Thursday she said it had been released from the VPC in SC and is scheduled to arrive at her place on Monday, Sept 27

So, I just have to wait for her to put it on a truck to San Diego. She's expecting two more Minis soon that will go to Los Angeles, so mine will be going with them.

MCS, CR/W, bonnet stripes, and all the other good stuff.

 

Just talked to my MA at Dreyer & Reinbold MINI in Indianapolis. She's telling me it looks like I'll be able to pick up my "Mia" on Tuesday, 10/5 or Thursday, 10/7. I was really hoping to have her before this weekend but doesn't look like that will be the case.

I hope I can survive this weekend. Last weekend was brutal. Waiting seems to get harder and harder every day!

I too am waiting to hear back from my MA about whether or not Saturday delivery will work out... !!!

 

My schedule has changed - again! - and it now looks as if I may be able to pick mine up at Tate MINI in Annapolis on either Thursday or Friday .... fingers crossed!

 

Still waiting for loan results..... ????

 

this is rediculous... now i am delayed a few more days because my rear spoiler in fact cannot be installed at the dealer - but is being sent to a body shop by mini of manhattan.

i'm getting sour with all of this hopes go up only to be dashed stuff - i'll post again when i get the car.

I turned in my App today... Im feeling a new stress that I hadnt dealt with before... the loan approval!!! is right!

 

Ack! How priorities change! 2 months ago when I ordered my MCS, I was very excited to receive it, but now I am not so sure. We just put an offer on a house (about 6 months before we agreed to even buy one) and I am second guessing my MINI purchase . To top it off, no one is even looking to buy my MC right now. I have it priced quite low and still no bites .

 

Well...my baby is making it's way across Texas as we speak - Yippee!! She should be arriving at my doorstep Wednesday morning... And of course, I'M GOING TO BE AT WORK - dang........so I have to suffer all day long knowing it's going to be in my driveway... :smile: It will be the LONGEST day at work....

Whew! Folks, I got approved, at about 6% interest rate, which is not half bad considering my new credit. *checking pulse*. OK, I am still alive, and breathing. Had different horror scenerios running through my head while my MA put me on hold today..... Thank God its all ok... Whew!!

Now all I have left to worry about it: should I have the dealer install stripes, or should I do it?

Cause we live in CA - we ordered from Sterling MINI in VA - where we used to live and where we ordered our first MCS from. And now it's coming via an enclosed carrier - who by the way - has been totally AWESOME!!:smile: Door to door service - can't get much better than that - well - unless we were able to drive it back...

where do you live? if not in california, I would post your add on site that will go nation wide, i know i looked for awhile for used minis and almost bought one back east, then at last second went for a new one! Even the used mini market in california is nuts!! Either way good luck!!!

I also just got an offer to get free airfare to pick up my car!! from friend who works for an airline, that is as long as he gets a test drive as I drive through on the way home!! So now as long as I can squeeze a whirlwind roadtrip into my school schedule, I am going to pick up my car in person!!

Lois I saw your MINI at the dealer out in in So Cal. It was the only MINI they had at it was BRG Convertable with the Cordoba Beige leather and Anthricite. It looked very,very,very,very nice!

I have a check in hand for one MINI Cabrio Now if she just arrives by this weekend. Reservations at the Memphis Hilton are made. I'm waiting to hear from my MA. He said he would know 48 hrs ahead of arrival. I'm off to pray to the MINI gods.
