Tinting

I am curious how do people tint mini coopers when the door windows move up/down when opening or closing the door?

My tinters trigger the latch so the car thinks the door is closed and leave the doors ajar to dry.

The guy that tinted my windows used a heat gun to make sure the tint didn't move during the drying process. I did't have any problems.

No problem here, just had to pull the fuse for a couple of days.

Never caused an issue in my old R50. My guy did the whole window (including what's below the door panel), so that little 1/2" of movement didn't cause damage.
