R50/53 Blown Shock?

Blown Shock?

Hey guys, so is it safe to assume that this shock is dead? If I push in the piston, it should come back up, right?

Mine stays in its compressed position.

Its Dead, you would be best replacing both left and right at the same time, also check your shock tower mounts for damage.
