Looking for a engine removal writeup. Anyone got one?

Yes, i've tried the "search" function. Best I can find on the web is speedup youtube videos.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

go to youtube, do a search on "mod mini". he has excellent step by step of different way on how to remove engine.

 

plus 1 mod mini has a channel and shows every job you ever need to do on a mini if your just looking for a way to orient yourself to the job

I actually came across the "mod mini" channel before you suggested it and watched his blown engine series. Good stuff.

Was actually looking for a step by step writeup with photos not a video to go off. I ended up just manning up and tearing into it. Took me about 7 hours over 3 days to pull the motor/gearbox. Made plenty of mistakes and learned a lot along the way.
