Hey guys sorry I've taken so long to get back to you, it turned out to not be the vacuum hose, it was indeed the computer, the car was only firing on cylinders 1 and 3 so we brought it to the bmw mechanic and they diagnost it as a faulty computer so we had it replaced and it works great now. Thanks for all of the help and support!
