If you like the looks and can aford it, go for it. It's purely cosmetics so you have to decide if it's worth the $$$.

The only pro is whether you are interested in it's somewhat exclusive nature and heritage. The con is that it really is a lot of money for really nothing but cosmetic things. In my opinion, it is not worth it, not even close.

I really enjoyed being able to order my car exactly to my liking. I doubt that there are many others in this country that are identical to mine.

The MC40 on the other hand, are all identical as far as I know. You can't even selected the options. If you buy a MC40, you will be missing out on the joy of having your own unique MINI.

Some people, (me), think buying a $27,000 car without cruise control sucks.

The interior mods look great (carbon fiber dash is really nice) but for the price, it is not a good deal at all. You could do a lot better ordering your car to spec, and saving $3000-$4000.

you see you can acually go to a sign shop and have all those decals made with precition and tag them on your red with white top and your half way their, buy the wheels and have the centre painted and boom your their buy the carbon fiber dash kit and leather die and the inteirior is done

pluse you have options, mod it and youll be so much happier,

basically it wont have the serial # but it will look identical and with your options will be a one off mc40 with all the money you save doing it this way you will have alot of money to mod it like crazy and have the fastest mc40 lookalike around!!!!!

well acually it comes with the jcw kit so at base cost it would be a 20,000 mini with base options with a 6,000 jcw kit after install so at 26,000 and the rarity i geuss it will work!!

Good point for some I guess. However, those of us who don't live on the coast often use this strange feature. Trust me, if for no other reason than trying to sell the car, you want cruise in my part of the country. Maybe they'll invent a "bumper to bumper" setting to make it more useful in congested areas.
