Thought I'd upgrade my 2006 MCS coupe with the factory fog light retrofit kit. When I got the parts I was surprised by the size of the fog lights. The lenses are about 3-1/4" dia. (similar to the park light/turn signal lights), but the hole in the fascia for the fog lights is only 2". All the info I can find online says these are the right lights. I haven't opened up the wheel well to check the fit yet, but really, is this right? Is there more than one size?

 

The size sounds right. If it looks like this, it's the correct part.

Well, it's the right part all right, thanks. Just seemed weird to me that over 50% of the lens area would be shrouded by the fascia.
