I'm selling my Clifford Concept 100 alarm from my old car. It's only been used about 9 months. I sold my car, and the new owner wanted a paging alarm. Clifford's very well known in the industry and I've always thought they made the best alarms. My friends and I have always had Cliffords. You can check them out at http://www.clifford.com . The Concept and Intelliguard lines are identical...they just have 2 for marketing reasons. Here's a list of features that I took off the clifford website that the Clifford Concept 100 alarm has. You can also add autostart and other clifford features...basically anything clifford offers will work on this alarm. I'm in california tho, but if you're interested, we can work out something w/ shipping. I got it for $300 and I'm asking $220 for it now. Email me at jainikke@yahoo.com if you're interested or have questions.

I was thinking of the same. Just was talking to the sales guy at Mini-Yaletown today regarding the optional alarm. Says it's a $1200(CDN) option with it fully installed. Said they need to take of the pillars, roof, etc to have it all done?? But he says it's top notch as far as alarms go. Holy man. So he told me just to sit tight for now, 'cause BMW usually holds a summer blow out sale on accessories and such. So the $800 alarm may be like $600. But I'm thinking I'll get an aftermarket deal.
