Did anyone see the comparison on Motor Trend TV last night? They had a 5 minute section on their comparing the Turbo Beetle and the Pontiac and the MINI Cooper S. I believe this is the same comparison in the current edition of the magazine. Anyway, they chose the MINI Cooper S over the other two. My wife and I test drove the MINI in St. Louis about 3 weeks ago and we are going back next month. Hopefully, I can convince my wife that we need a new car and to let me have it rather than drive her insane which is the course we are currently on. She really liked the S, and she enjoyed driving it, but she is way too practical.

I love the Speed Channel. But I'd prefer more F1 and less NASCAR.

It's like Food Network--a great channel but too much Emeril Lagasse. Up with Tyler Florence! Down with Emeril!

Yup, I did see it. It was on again at 2am so I set the VCR to record it. Pretty neat. I've test driven a Vibe GT and let me tell you that car has no power below 6000 rpm.
