Being the proud owner of two months of a '04 MC must admit to be becoming full fledged Miniac. She is the wife's daily driver and as would be expected no problems at all to speak of. I was curious to hear what is the most miles anyone heard of on a Mini thus far.

Pilgrim, in Florida, has almost 100K on his MINI! He drives about 140 miles per day, plus has taken a few long roadtrips. He got his MINI the summer of '02, I believe!

Pilgrim as of two days ago had 98,500 miles. He should go over 100K first week or two of July.

 

Anyone know how this MINI is doing? Has it gone through a fuel or water pump yet? Is the transmission OK. Burned through 3 or four sets of tires?

Pretty impressive to get almost 100K of miles in two years. I'm lucky to drive that in 10 years.

 

Pilgrim aka Doug posts here at NAM from time to time and I’m sure when he hits 100K he’ll make the announcement. I’m sure many people will have questions about his MCS and what problems he’s encountered.

I do know his MINI has been very much trouble free being one of super 02 builds. He not only drives many miles a week to work, but also does auto-x with it. He has the 15% reduction pulley which I believe was installed around 40K and has gone through 2 sets of run flats.
