Just reading all the posts for the july thread and saw that no one has started a Sept. thread.... anybody else expecting delivery of the Mini's in Sept. Let's do it..... :smile:

 

I'd love to join! I'm still waiting for the official word that I am a September. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

I thought that the "build date" and the "Delivery date" are two diffeent things. My dealer said that a CAR ORDERED TODAY, if the dealer has not used up his quota, would be delivered about the second or even first week in September. This indicates a late July or August "build date." Remember, the thing has to ship on a boat from England, go to the U.S. Distributer, and then trucked to the local dealer.

Cars with a September build date should not arrive here until November or later.

 

i am happy to add to this thread... just ordered my 2005 cooper today!

brg/w, premium & sport packages, nav, ipod input, driving lights, aero kit (front end only) and aux gauges.

i am told by mini of manhattan that the car is an august build (the factory shuts down for three weeks in july for vacation) and it should be here in the second or third week of september.

now the waiting begins... good problems to have!

I'll join the September thread. I ordered a 2005 MCS a few weeks ago, and my Motoring Advisor told me that--cross fingers--it should arrive in September. That'll be nice :smile:

yes... delivery date and production date are different... I was told, though, that my delivery date should be in Sept. which means that prod. date should be in July... can't wait... it's kind of a trip to be able to check mini's owner's lounge as to how the process is moving along... just today, I checked on mine and my color change is now reflected..... let's all hang in there... Sept. shouldn't be that far away.... any California Sept. dates? maybe a big mini get together at the end of Sept. is appropriate... let me know....

 

OK, so start a July build thread or a September Delivery Thread!

My order is in, and as soon as I get a build date I will let you know. I noticed someone else ordered a Chrono pack option, although they did not call it that. Hopefully the first photos from newly delivered 2005's will show what the moved speedo looks like.
