Howdy, some good friends of mine have an R53 Cooper S that is on its 2nd or 3rd super charger. The last two were used and didn't last long. Does anyone know of a reputable shop in the SF Bay area (preferably east bay) that can do the job without drama & gauging? Many thanks in advance.

watch the vids.. they did a great job.. if I had to do anything different now I would have spent the money on a recharge sister so I could change the oil in it and check it without taking it out

Eaton authorized re-manufacturer and they offer porting and polishing if you are looking for that little extra.

I did have my s/c rebuilt by stiegemeier though. It was only a few months ago, but I'm happy with the service I got.

Very fast turnaround, and done for a fair price. Didn't go for the porting, just got a full rebuild for $795

Another option is to buy a reman for around $1000 or get a new one for $1400
