Free OEM Exhaust to whoever wants to pick it up

Need to replace your OEM exhaust? Want an extra one just for the hell of it? Repair MINIs and this could come in handy? If you live in or near the CA bay area and want this send me a PM and its yours. First one to it gets it.

Jason,

What's the new exhaust sound like? I like the small rumble that the stock S puts out but I honestly don't know what the difference would be with a change. I'd be curious about how different it is with aftermarket exhausts. Keep motoring but watch out for the cars with light bars on the roof.

If it were me, I'd only give away the original exhaust to another needy MINI owner. (I guess that's why you posted it here.) Be sure to get some money if somebody shows up just wanting to make money on it on Ebay.

Cheers,

The new exhaust is awesome! I can see why some would say its too loud, but I like it. It gives the car a completely different attitude.

As for selling the system, I think the highest I saw one going for on ebay was like $1.50 so Im not too concerned about it.

A macho MINI. Cool.

I'll give you 78 cents for that exhaust and not a penny more!

Cheers,

If your new exhaust system has a resonator after the cat, you might want to try what I did, cut the old system up and make a straight pipe system. I use it for road racing and believe it or not, it is quiet enough for the street, PROVIDED you keep it below 4K RPM........
all I had to do was buy some brackets and a connector from NAPA ($20). Takes 15 minutes to install/uninstall......
