Very Exciting News!.....

........I have joined you, my fellow brethren, in Mini Cooper ownership land!

About 2 weeks ago I picked up this bad boy from a local dealership. It's a 06 MCS with (just rolled over this weekend) 60k miles. I look forward to modifying this little monster and becoming an active member of the forum!

I think the first appearance modification I'll be attempting is plastidiping some of the chrome this weekend. I'll make sure to update with more after photos after!

Sorry, she is a bit dirty....just had her out for a quick rip

Welcome! Vinyl would be better than dip for chrome delete. Color code your headlight rings instead of blacking em out.

Welcome aboard! You made a fine choice with an 06 S. I remember the sheer joy the day I brought mine home, and I can say that nearly four years later I still love my car as much as I did Day One (and probably more).

Simple and relatively inexpensive mods like a supercharger pulley will add some oomph, while a cold air intake lets you enjoy the supercharger whine even more. You have lots of options, but let me warn you: once you get going, it's a slippery slope!

Enjoy her in good health!

If you have the resources im with Sanity on color coding the rings but the plasti dip is easy and fun for the time being and not expensive.

I plasti dipped my wheels and some of my chrome. I just ordered the aero grille set so pretty pumped over that.

also have a new matte black hood scoop if your interested.

Wow very active forum! Finally got some nice weather around here and spent the better part of the day detailing her.

I'll have to look into color matching the rings as those seem to dull down the appearance of the car if not done correctly. But I think ill test my luck with plastidip on the trim/door handles...if it looks bad ill just rip it off

I'm curious if you guys would have any wheel suggestions or tips when picking out a good wheel/tire setup? I'm currently looking into a black set of RPF1's, but not quite sure if it 100% fits with the car.

I saw this car parked at the UND hockey rink a while back. I love the fat rubber tire look.
