2004 Mc
Well yesterday I finally was able to go pick up my new MINI. It was the only Gold Mini they had. I had several people walk up to me saying how nice the car looked. My advisor was Dana Prato at Mini of Charleston. Paid only MRSP but since I got packages 123, chrome exhaust, chrome mirror caps, sunroof deflector, all 5 rubber mats, R90's, Zenons , Aero kit, and the rain sensing wipers the options cost a bit more so it was expensive. But it looks and handles great. I am now very happy to actually have one when I read all the info here on this site.

Oh hahahaha, ok you got me . When I got my 2003 MC, I got the 4 rubber mats and the boot box mat, but not the one I posted cause it wasn't avaiable. The one in the boot is good. It keeps things from sliding around, but if you get it, you should definitely get a boot net !
Also, depending on how you plan on using the one I posted, you CAN cut it up and make it fit so that's its in your car all the time. That is, as it comes from the dealer, you put it in and remove it when you're not using it. I modified mine so it's in my car all the time. The only drawback right now is that I can't split the seats since I didn't want to slice the cover down the middle, potentially compromising the sturdiness of the cover.
This is what you're missing then:
See how a large Pizza fits perfectly in there!!!

Congrats,I really like that gold colour, let us know how it is for showing dirt
BRG is very good at showing dirt, but then I get to wash him more.
Lot15 I also got a teflon coating added that needs re application ($125) at 6 month intervals, they gave me three free reapllications. two years worth. So the car is covered by their warranty now they will repaint if the paint gets damaged, and I will never have to wax my car. To me it was really a no brainer to get it.

Ya ,I have the same sort of thing, but as long as I don't strip it off,it's good for the 5 year warranty. Now I do use detailer/polish after washing all the time,at least once a week, but no waxing ever,:smile:Now I know some will not agree, and I
still wax my truck, buts it's hard enough keeping it clean at -30 without waxing
