The new one isn't quite here yet, Earl.

Sig change will happen when appropriate.

Hey Scott, check the first page of this thread. Both myself and the owner discuss the lights.

I've got the Angel Eye lights in my hands, and am working on how to wire them up. I currently have the PIAA lights installed, and will take them out to put in the Hellas, using the brackets to hold the Hellas.

So, wiring... I like the idea of not having a switch, especially since the switch with the Hellas doesn't have any sort of "sense" wire like the PIAAs do. With the PIAAs, the switch, and the lights, only work when the high beams are on... and it remembers the switch setting.

So, if I want to wire the new lights like the post on page one of this thread says (angel eyes tied to parking lights, driving lights tied to high beams), at what point to I deviate from the instructions? Do I still use the relay and tie in the wires on the switch side of the relay to the lights? Or, is the relay no longer needed and I tie in the wiring before the relay?

if you have an questions feel free to ask....

thought I'd through this one in since it seems to have missed out
One question, what's the bottom of the Hella bracket look like? Is there a big hole in the middle of it, or a couple off to the side? I'm thinking I could drill a hole in the middle if there weren't one already so it'd fit nicely on a Madness or PIAA bracket.

If they are the same brackets as the ones that come with the FF200 lights, there is only one hole on the outside part of the bracket. It's used for mounting of the light itself and since they have a special knee type mounting bracket the wires do not run through it.

I've got a few pictures on this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=49923

Love the lights and the covers

The pictures seem to be working OK to me. After shopping around, I noticed Moss Mini is blowing these kits out for $149 + shipping, so I went for it. At least I think they are the same...they're Cobalt brand.

You mean the pictures on this thread? Yes, they're dead. I had thought you meant the Hella installation thread.
