How do you know if your mini had DSC ? I'm new to owning a mini. My 03 base model is missing its window switch panel below the heater controls.

If that is missing (the control panel with the window switches) I kinda wonder what else is wrong and missing....
You could look at the control unit up br the passenger firewall window well...look up the part number for your year car on realoem.com....and find out if it a DSC or asc+t controller....
ASC+T was standard.....DDC was an optional upgrade that came with some options...
DSC was not offerd on some early cars as an option.
