R50/53 Tritec Mini Cooper engine failures?

I know the 1.6L Tritec motor is tough, simple, and dependable. Just curious if any tuners or the like have seen a factory piston, crankshaft, connecting rod, or such fail after extensive engine modifications. Trying to get 240+ HP out of this tiny engine seems insane and asking for failure!!!

i have seen none due to modding, i have seen from hydrolock and pictures of one from no oil....
