05 Mini cooper S Exhaust Question

Hello all, i have an 18ft long tube of 2.49" INNER DIAMETER and 1/8" thick titanium. I plan on making a custom exhaust for my mini out of this material BUT i do have some concerns mainly with the diameter of the pipe. In the turbo world less backpressure is better BUT this is my first supercharged car and am wondering of 2.49" ID exhaust would be too big ?

I do not want to hurt performance, i want to be able to make a good amount of power AND at the same time reduce the weight.

I was going to do the 1 ball method but my friend is willing to help me in making the exhaust so i might just go this route.

most the the exhausts for our car are 2.5 pipe, some even 2.25, so long as it flows nice, it shouldnt hurt performance

alright, i plan on cutting out the rear battery box and remounting the battery ontop to the side and make a straight exhaust so this way there will be a minimal amount of bends if any..
