R50/53 Good JCW mileage this week!
This is with mostly highway driving, but I usually average 24-25mpg on the SAME route :???:
I filled up the tank this morning after completing 357 miles on 12.2 gallons of high octane which works out to an average of 29.3 mpg - not bad! The OBD was reading 32 miles remaining and the needle was JUST above the red light (which had been displayed for several miles). This is nearly equal to the range I would get with my '02 Cooper although I would use less gas - usually I would add 11.x gallons to fill it back up.
Our temps here in VA were in the upper 80s and low 90s up until Friday or so and my car has close to 19K miles. I did not use the auto air conditioning, but rather had the "2x70 + sunroof" method of cooling

On a recent Vegas jaunt I had an actual average trip mpg of 30.1 at an average speed of 68.9.
The temperature range was from 69 - 95. Had the air on sometimes and all opened up when the traffic slowed to a crawl.
The only Mini I saw in Vegas was a CR/W MCS that Elvis was trying to rent!!!!!!
