any one know how to fix or replace the spring in the shade? My shade doesn't pull back all the way. It stops like 2\3 the way.

 

i just went through this ") go get some graphite powder from Harbor Freight Or get a carpenters pencil and rub it along the rail of the shade… sorted…

You can bet it's dirty up there So...

 

no its most definitly the retractor I can push the bar back but the Curtin part won't roll up.... The bar slides very easily.

any way to take the thing apart?

 

think im gonna try to replace the parts with the one in the rear with the one in the front as the rear still works great.

anyone else have suggestions, or even how to access the things?

 

I just pulled the trim around the sunroof in mine.. That part is easy… couldn't access the roller for the blind though… I couldn't find anything in the manual, Besides the fact, you have to remove the headliner to access the motor for the Sunroof... Since the mechanism for the blind is underneath that.. PIA!!
