R50/53 Anyone seen the new anthracite interior?

I ordered my MCS at the end of july and i am not supposed to get it until feb. ugh
However the dealer said i had till about november if i wanted to change anything, but i am yet to see the new anthracite interior and at this point i cant decide between the other two. help :???:

Just picked up my 2003 Cooper S last week. Ordered the anthracite interior sight unseen, and I'm very glad I did. It's a dark charcoal gray, sort of metalflake. Looks very rich on the dash. I'm very pleased with it. My dealer said mine was the first he'd seen with it, and it's his favorite interior color now, too.

2003 Anthracite Interior Thread with photos
this is my car - if ya need more photos to help you decide let me know and i'll take them in different light conditions.
i personally like it a lot more than the other options, but to each his/her own.

Where did you order yours? It sounds like you're on the same time-scale as me (last changes; early November... delivery; mid-to-late February). Mine is coming thru Long Beach MINI (God, and the Longshoremen willing...).
I thought about anthracite; decided to just stick with the "alloy patina". I'm sure ANY of the interiors will be just fine. The car will still corner like a terror.
We "may" even be able to order the HK stereo!

Her is something you should check out with your dealer. It seems that as of NOvember builds the anthracite for US cars has been discontinued. Here is a link to the MINI2 forum about this subject. http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=17149

It may well be available to order again after November. So far, it looks like orders are not being taken for November production. It might be a 'wait and see'. Check with your dealer and ask him/her to find out for you.
