sorry to cross post bu ti thought this would get more attention here. i was carious if anyone was interested in camping at the "west meets east" event? instead of sleeping in a boring hotel room, how about partying under the stars during this. so what kind of response is there for this?

Sounds like fun but my camping days are over. Roughing it today means staying in a Holiday Inn with a black and white TV

I feel for you! I love camping, and I almost always prefer it to a motel, especially in an area where I've never been. Hope you get some responses! I'm as mystified as you are at the lack of interest. Unfortunately I'm not attending that event, or I'd help you drum up some participation.

Next summer I'm hoping to drive cross-country in my MINI and camp almost every night!
