Quick Rim/Tire Question

I know this has been talked about a million and a half times here guys, and I'm very sorry for asking yet another time - but, if you guys wouldn't mind helping me out..... Here's my exact deal:

On Stock Suspension on my '06 S R53 (built 12/05)
Have Current Wheels of: 17x7 et48
Acquiring Wheels of: 17x7.5 et45

Tires: Proxies 4 205/50/17 (I know and understand, these shouldn't have been my first choice on tire size, but got them for an awesome deal (free - brand new....long story) and they've been perfect - thus far). They look a little wide on my stock 7in width rims, but according to multiple sites, they should look just flush with the 7.5in width rim (and its their requested maximum rim width within their range according to the manufactures specifications.) .

Im going to be also running these same tires on both set-ups.. ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE FREE TOYOS. So the question finally is: Will these 7.5in wide wheels still fit without rubbing on my stock suspension or not? Right now, I have no rub, but its darn close to rubbing the struts in the fronts. (This area is my main concern)

Whats throwing me all off, is that the rim will be .5in wider and the offset will push it off center a little more, so is this going to be a fail? Or am I going to need some spacers?

Thanks everyone!!!!

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
205/45-17 3.6in 12.1in 24.3in 76.2in 831 0.0%
205/50-17 4.0in 12.5in 25.1in 78.8in 804 3.3%

I would go with 215/45/17 as this is a better fit and is closer to the stock tire size.

Thanks a million man, but the question remains.... Will the set-up posted above fit without spacers (The 7.5 wide rims)? The width is what is concerning me most....

Braminator: I will definitely get the right size tires...

You should not need spacers IMO.

Thanks bud!

EDIT: So I studied up on all this, and know all these answers so thanks again... but nobody has to respond to this thread now! (I was in a hurry, and didn't have time to look into this, but now I have - so thanks again everyone!)
