Whistling In The Dark?

Getting used to my 'new' car, and in some pretty awful weather. It's a noisy little thing--lots of unnecessarily noisy panels (which I hope to track down and dampen), but it's also got a whistle going on. I cannot for the life of me get a bearing on its source. Any ideas? It's got 88K so maybe I should just reconcile myself to it's being a rattle trap. But I would like to have a nice tight little car. Am I crazy?

No. I think mine whistles too... I suspect it could be the outer A pillars. There is a "gap"of sorts where it meets the windshield. I want to find some black trim liner (like the chrome stuff, just in black) and slap that on at the gap there. No luck yet on finding such trim yet tho :(

As for the rattles, here are some places to check: bottom of downtubes on your dash. The interior air sensor in the middle of your dash. If you have a pre 05, pull your dash entirely and use foam tape around the back edge. I also found that the light in the boot rattles! Use some 3m tape on that B.

All I can think of for now! Good luck!
