Just curioius, does anyone know where most of the Mini sales people come from (ie, how did get their jobs)? Are most of them transferred from the BMW side of the dealership or did they actually get hired by Mini HQ in NJ and then sent out to the dealerships? Most of the ones I meet just seem really low pressure and nice.

 

I think they import them...load them with Prozac...and send
them to the dealers

 

I think they were mostly either transferred from the BMW dealership, or recruited locally by the MINI managers.

 

I was the dealership receptionist before moving over to MINI Administration.
One of our sales people is from England, one was a detailer here for 3 years and was promoted to sales, and one was hired off the street.
