This car is available now at a dealership.

Mini Cooper
Chili Red/Black Roof
Anthracite
Black leatherette
CVT
Cold
Premium
Sports

I've asked you all about the CVT vs. Manual. I do a lot of in town driving and family members who want to drive the car. But if there is a huge learning curve for the CVT, maybe I should just get the manual. I don't have a feeling of either transmission being better over the other.

I've got to get a Mini so I can get some sleep!

It sounds like a very nice car. I would add black bonnet stripes and chrome mirror caps for the ultimate look.

If you like the car and feel good about it, just go for it!

The CVT is very easy to drive, it behaves like an automatic so no learning curve required for day to day driving. But if you want to get "naughty" with the car on weekends or around the track, then you need to get acquinted with the Sport and Steptronic modes to discover the wild side of this car.

Anyway, you won't be setting the CVT out of normal mode until after the first 1,250 iles of the break in period.

Go for it!

Well, do you LOVE the car? Did you fall in love with the car? Did you really want Indi Blue with white top and a total manual instead of CVT? Don't compromise. Actually, although I HATE this wait, it actually is turning into something fun - especially now that my car should enter production within the next week, and I am getting EVERYTHING I want. This car is made especially for me. It already has a name. You know?

So only if it were very very close to what you would get anyway, I say pass, and order what you want.

Get it! I love a manual transmission but the CVT is awesome and I would love the feeling of it. Great especially since you are nice enough to let other family members drive!

Go for it. I agree with cooper4us on the bonnet stripes, but leave the chrome mirror caps on the shelf.

CR/B looks sharp! Sounds like a nice car. I have the CVT and enjoy it. It's not hard at all, plus you get the Sport and Steptronic modes. Good luck!
