I have the production number the dealer gave me. I looked on MINIUSA.com but didnt see anywhere to track it even in the owners lounge. Please let me know where you go to see this.

In the Owners Lounge section of http://www.miniusa.com click on "Your Mini" in the box at the top of the main page. On the next screen that comes up, you should have a column on the left titled "Your Mini". Look near the bottom of the list in this column and you will see "Order Tracking". Click on that, and on the next screen you will see the status of your order.

it's been awhile, but I recall the first time entering the owner's lounge I had to set up our account, which requires the PRODUCTION NUMBER form your dealer. Once the system verifies it you should note if the car description that pops up is the same as your car.

In our case, the first car was a CR/W MC, but our was an IB/W MCS... I assumed the production number was not yet reassigned to our car so without a panicked, neurotic phone call to our dealer I waited a couple of days and VOILA! It converted to the description of our car. Once in, under the photo of the DS MC it says "rack Your Mini." Go there and patience test begins...
