Fog light help

Hi...tried searching and found a DIY to attempt to replace my burned out passenger side fog light. However, I dont think that its burned out at all. When I had my hand up inside the inner bumper I felt a black loose cable that was not connected to anything. I used a mirror and a light to try and find what it plugged into, but couldnt see a thing.

First: is this unplugged connector why my foglight is out
Second: if so, can I plug it in without removing the wheel and entire wheel well liner?

Thanks.

Yes, just turn your wheel all the way (out if I remember correctly) & use a short phillips screw driver to remove just the front pins, should give you enough pull to get access to the fog light area.

Well the outside temp sensor is on the other side so could be.

You may be able to acess the area without doing all that work too. Start her up and sharply cut the wheel to the right while pulling ahead some to get full extention of the rack radius. Sbut down and remove the expansion clips for the front part of the wheel well liner and pull it back to access the connector.

Thanks. How many of the front pins? I removed the two closest to the outside of the well and was not able to pull it back very far.

Turn the wheel left I'm assuming??

Thanks

Front of the wheel = out...there is also a screw that needs to be removed from under the bumpee, try pulling as many of the pins you can with the wheel on (in the front) should give you enough room.

I have learned that sometimes it is just easier and quicker to take stuff apart. If you have the ability to do so, you may have a better time of it if you simply remove the wheel and then the liner (really isn't hard and doesn't take long) or the bumper itself (again not hard and doesn't take long).
