Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone knew if the tail lights from an 05-06 cooper s would fit into my 04 tail light spaces. I have a taillight that has much condensation.

 

Wired differently but will fit. Since the 05/06's are of different style you will have to purchase both left and right. ( No more egg yolk look for those years )

When braking, the back up light inside the face lift tails will illuminate. But if you insert a red LED bulb in place of the clear one, you can get around that.

 

I was going to do this myself when I bought my MCS, but decided the euro tails look better so I ordered a set of the euros.
As stated above, the wiring is slightly different and causes incorrect bulbs to light up. There was a retrofit kit made for the conversion that solved this issue. Not sure if it is still available, but I did find the install guide. You should be able to use this and other info on NAM to get the wiring done correctly.
