My dealer indicates that the 2003 model will be available in September but has no knowledge of any changes. Any details out there?

You may find alot of the info your looking for by doing a search(s) within the "Forums" area. Just type in a keyword.

As for your question.... The only changes I think we will see..... or not see are the ironing out of some bugs. Beyond that I think Great Britain will be getting a diesel next year.

Yeah, I know of a change... THE PRICE TAG! Apparently according to my dealership the MINI does a nice little price jump here in NY… I don't remember the exact number, but I think it was like a grand!

I was there to order my S, but when they told me it wouldn't be in until late November AND with a higher price tag, I opted for the only 2002 S that they had left. It is scheduled to arrive this week.

Taking a pre-specked out S didn't bother me because I rather have my MINI now while it's super cool than have to wait another 6 months. The only difference in the available car than the one I was to order is the sunroof.

Has anyone else heard about the price increase???

 

The 2003 model will be very much the same... The only real changes will be an armrest for the driver and passenger, and the options removed from the 2002 model... So what you really should be asking yourself is, "Are armrests really worth $1,000?"
