Service 1 or 2

I have an '04 MCS R53. I bought it with 70k and have just over 90k right now. My service interval is counting down, and when it hits zero, I will be close to 91k. Unfortunately I didn't get service records since I bought it thru a non-Mini dealer.

How do I know which is service is due?

You could try a mini dealer to see what history it has on their system or just assume inspection 2 is required or look at the condition of the belt, coolant and brake fluid. When I got mine at 60 k the air filter had never been changed, brake fluild was dark, belt was worn etc. So I changed everything.

Service 1 is due about 30,000 miles, the second at about 60,000
Then one again at about 90,000.....continue ...
A few items..spark plugs are based on miles rad fluid, and brake fluid based upon time/months...
If you are not sure the 2 has been done, it is just a inspection1 with more indepth looking/checking, and a few filters...so doing an extra 2 will not hurt anything.

Thanks Aspen and Zippy! I did change the brake fluid last year and did the belt/pulley/plugs about the same time. I also did a MSD/Wires change too.

I will assume I need to do Service 1! Thank you again both for the help!
