Installing a Areo grill on my 2005 MCS, middle grill was a job but looks great. The top one that everybody said was easy is not!!!!!!!!! The mounting posts that the nuts go on SUCK. I probably will try to glue along with those funky nuts and washers.

Need some help.

 

I had to break them off of my original grill. Once you get them off, place the new grill in place and I used a ratchet to simply "screw" them on. Once they are in place, that is it, they don't come off easy.

 

It is the new grill i am talking about. The new posts strip off and will not tying up.

 

It is possible that you damaged the nuts removing them. You may need to buy new ones.
